Parks in Southlake
The amount of park land to be found within the City of Southlake totals to over 675 acres, and includes 45 game fields, 15 tennis courts and over 6 miles of park trails. Several parks stand out as being excellent venues for the whole family to spend free time. Bicentennial Park has seen a large amount of re-development over the past years and this is continuing into the future. The aim is to make this a premier park within the City of Southlake. When complete it will contain a plethora of sporting facilities and some beautifully landscaped gardens, it is proposed that the park will be of such high quality, it will become a precedent for surrounding cities. Position close to the town square, inside the Central Market Shopping Center is Central Park. The landscaped gardens include several picnic areas with shaded picnic tables and a beautifully sculptured fountain, an ideal place to each lunch or take a break from shopping.

Southlake Dining
There are a huge amount of excellent eateries to be found in the City of Southlake; here we will cover just a handful. For a real treat, the Cheesecake Factory has been baking its excellent fare for 30 years, now operating out of several locations; this famed purveyor of quality cheesecake is a firm favorite for those with a sweet tooth. For simple and great value food, a visit to Babe’s Chicken Dinner House may be in order. Well known for its quality Texan cooking and great hospitality. For some great Tex-Mex the interestingly named Anamua’s springs to mind. Locally lauded as the best tex-mex food in the area, the owners attribute this to the care they take with the way the food looks, not only tastes, making sure that rich, warm colors are present in every dish. If seafood is your thing then you are going to love Truluck’s, this restaurant has won several awards for the quality of its food, served in opulent fine dining style, the crab is especially highly recommended.

Southlake Art & Entertainment
Southlake houses the incredible Hawkins Theater, this luxury movie theater brings every modern convene ice to the movie viewer. This is the flagship theatre of the successful Hawkins line. The Palace Arts Center incorporates The Palace Theater, with a yearly schedule of musicals and plays, encouraging local residents to get involved in the amateur theatre scene. Southlake has a wide range of entertainment and recreational options, surely within its boundaries can be found something to suit every taste.
